Personally, I think that every survivor of the holocaust is a huge triumph for the Jewish people, as Hitler himself said once that if there will be one single Jew left after the final solution- the Germans had lost their fight.

Yet, here are some important events of rebellion and uprising. Most of them were overpowered, but their goals were achieved (hurting the Germans and the death apparatuses, revenge, to be remembered as fighters, bringing the Jewish nation its honor back鈥?:

I don't think there were many triumphs during this time. If they were they were probably just little triumphs. There is a book about the TenBoom family in Holland, called The Hiding Place. It is the story about a family, that hid the Jews in their house. They did save some for a brief time but were discovered and all including the TenBoom family ended up in the death camp. All died except the one daughter, who ended up release on a fluke and later became a great woman of faith. She even preached the gospel to one of the guards of the camp she was at, years later. Her name was Cory TenBoom. You can read about her life and her terrible experience in the camp. How her faith sustained her and her sister in this awlful place is a miracle of God.Also there is an episode called The Warsaw Ghetto uprising, where Jews were enclaved in an area in Warsaw Poland. They used smuggled weapons to fight off the Germany army and held them off for several months. Finally the uprising was halted by the Germans using heavy weapons and tanks to destroy the ghetto. Like I said not much long term wins until the war was won.
